Client: Xchanging
Projects: Environmental graphics for Walbrook office, Xchanging newsletter, Xchanging Onstream report
Role: Design, layout, image sourcing, informational graphics, print production
As leaders in insurance-based business technology and procurement, the client sought environmental graphics that would reflect both their expertise in technological solutions and their global brand positioning.
Working under the art direction of Robert Lamb & Company, the project spanned a large café, breakout areas, demo and presentation rooms, meeting spaces, and an auditorium. Brand Union provided initial conceptual design sketches from a previous office project, which we adapted, refined, and expanded. We researched and sourced all photographic imagery — including over 50 unique cityscapes — and handled the full implementation of the graphics, setting up all Illustrator files in line with vendor-supplied room specifications.
The final design paired bold, angled bars and vivid brand colours with muted cityscape photography to create a distinctive identity for each room. Shown here alongside their newsletter and a report for the energy sector which we also designed, these projects show how integrated environmental and print design can reinforce a brand’s identity.
